At Swift Ops, my mission is to solve real challenges faced by businesses and skilled tradespeople, focusing on creating meaningful solutions that drive positive change. Based in Bruce and Grey Counties, where I call home, I’m dedicated to changing the narrative around the skilled trades and ensuring both businesses and workers feel supported, empowered, and equipped for success.
Together, we can build stronger communities and a more sustainable future for the trades.
I'm Morgan Swift, a mom of two, a proud trades wife, and someone who has spent nearly two decades working alongside the crews who build and keep our communities running.
My connection to the trades is personal. When my husband stepped into the trades later in life, we had to figure it out ourselves. The path was confusing and the systems were not always clear, but once he got established, it gave our family stability, opportunity, and a future we are proud of.
As a proud hockey mom, I have seen how the right leadership and teamwork can change the game. I see that same spirit in the trades: people showing up every day, putting in the work, and relying on each other to get the job done. Over the years I have also heard the frustrations - apprentices trying to find a way in, career changers unsure where to start, and business owners pulled away from the work they love by paperwork and red tape.
Swift Ops grew out of my desire to tackle those challenges head on. My goal is to stand behind the trades the way a strong team captain supports their players, building confidence, removing barriers, and making sure everyone has what they need to succeed.
I want my kids, every young person in our communities, and those who never had the chance or the tools early on to see the trades as a proud, rewarding, and first choice career.
Together, we can make the pathway into the trades easier to navigate, support employers to keep their crews moving, and build stronger businesses and communities across Ontario.
