Swift Ops supports skilled trades employers, apprentices, and industry partners by helping connect people, opportunities, and workforce solutions across Ontario’s construction and industrial sectors.
Based in Bruce County, Swift Ops works alongside businesses and communities to help simplify workforce conversations, strengthen apprenticeship awareness, support employer engagement, and create clearer pathways into the skilled trades.
From workforce development discussions and industry connections to apprenticeship guidance and employer support, the goal is simple:
Help strengthen the skilled trades while supporting the people and businesses behind them.
As workforce demands continue growing across Ontario, particularly within construction, energy, and industrial sectors, Swift Ops focuses on helping bridge gaps between industry, education, and community while advocating for stronger long-term workforce solutions.
Because stronger trades build stronger communities.
I’m Morgan Swift, a mom of two, a proud trades wife, and someone who has spent more than 20 years working alongside the people who help build and keep our communities running.
My connection to the skilled trades is deeply personal.
When my husband entered the trades later in life, I saw firsthand how difficult apprenticeship pathways and workforce systems could be to navigate for everyday families trying to build a better future. But once he became established in his trade, it changed everything for our family. It brought opportunity, stability, confidence, and a deep respect for the people who choose this work every day.
That experience changed the direction of my own work.
As a hockey mom, I’ve also seen how leadership, teamwork, trust, and strong support systems can completely change the outcome for a team. I see that same culture within the trades every day, people showing up, solving problems, supporting each other, and helping keep communities moving forward.
I’ve seen the challenges too:
Students unsure where to start,
Apprentices trying to navigate complex systems,
Career changers looking for guidance,
and Employers stretched thin trying to keep projects and crews moving.
That is why Swift Ops exists.
Not just to support businesses, but to help connect people to opportunities, remove barriers where possible, and advocate for a stronger future for the skilled trades and the next generation entering them.

Founder, Swift Ops

Swift Ops is proudly based in Inverhuron, Ontario, along the shores of Lake Huron, on the traditional and treaty territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, which includes Saugeen First Nation and the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation.
This is more than simply where I operate my business — it is also the community I call home.
I am grateful to live and work in this beautiful part of Ontario and recognize the generations of Anishinaabek people who have cared for these lands and waters, as well as their continued presence, connection and stewardship today.
As Swift Ops works with employers, organizations and communities across the region, I believe understanding where we come from and listening to the people and communities who know this region best are important parts of building its future.
This acknowledgement is made with respect, gratitude and a commitment to continuing to learn about the history, people and lands of the region I am fortunate to call home.
