Meet our Team Captain
I’m Morgan Swift, a mom of two, a proud trades wife, and someone who has spent over 20 years working alongside the people who build and keep our communities running.
My connection to the trades is personal.
When my husband stepped into the trades later in life, the path was not always clear and the systems were not easy to navigate. But once he got established, it changed everything for our family. It brought stability, opportunity, and a deep respect for the people who choose this work every day.
As a hockey mom, I’ve seen firsthand how leadership, teamwork, and trust can change the outcome for an entire team. I see that same spirit in the trades. People showing up, working hard, supporting each other, and doing what needs to be done.
I’ve also seen the challenges that come with it.
Apprentices trying to find their way in.
Career changers unsure where to start.
Business owners stretched thin trying to keep everything moving.
Swift Ops grew out of a desire to help make those challenges easier to navigate.
I see my role a lot like a team captain. Supporting the crew, helping remove barriers, building confidence, and making sure people have what they need to move forward.
My hope is that my kids, and anyone looking for a meaningful path, see the trades as something to be proud of. A career that builds strong futures, strong communities, and real opportunity.
Together, we can make the pathway into the trades easier to understand, support employers in building stronger crews, and help communities grow through skilled work that truly matters.
